Cruise Planners has launched a new system for its advisors to rate and review suppliers within CP Maxx, the franchisor’s proprietary customer relationship management and booking system. 

The shareable database of advisors’ reviews, client feedback and more will be available internally for other Cruise Planners advisors. The database formalizes what advisors had already shared with one another on social media, during group discussions and beyond, Cruise Planners said. The database can be sorted and filtered.

The highest rating that can be achieved is five stars. Advisors can rate suppliers on specific categories under the two larger categories of consumer experiences and advisor experiences. Under consumer experiences, advisors can rate suppliers on overall experience, service, entertainment, dining/food quality and family-friendly atmosphere. Under advisor experiences, they can be rated on overall experience, call center experience, sales and marketing support, online booking experience and cancellation or rebooking experience.

Advisors can also share client reviews within the database.

The agency has launched a tool that will capture client data about where they want to travel in the next one to three years. Garcia discusses how the data fits into its marketing strategy.

Michelle Fee, founder and CEO of Cruise Planners, said the database will help busy advisors gain insight into how easy a supplier is to work with. It will be especially valuable to new advisors, she said.

“Launching this review tool right now is important since Covid-19 has introduced so many changes in our industry such as property reopenings, changes to products or services and the amenities our partners offer,” Fee said in a statement.

“We recognized how rapidly changing policies were impacting our travel advisors, and we wanted to come up with a way for them to keep up with it all,” she said. “Using ‘crowdsourcing’ helps our agents break through the clutter to find the perfect supplier for their client’s vacation.”
