MAYFIELD VILLAGE, Ohio

Suspicious person: Wilson Mills Road

Officers checked on a suspicious person inside True North Shell at 4:30 a.m. Oct. 2 and found he was an employee of the business. The University Heights man, 27, said his ride never showed up after the shift so he was sleeping inside the store. He was found to have an active warrant, which was out of the pick-up radius.

Disturbance: Aintree Park Drive

Officers responded to an apartment just before midnight Sept. 29 for a report of an argument between a man and woman. They confirmed there was no physical confrontation, and both were advised of the complaint.

Disturbance: Glenview Road

A man, 75, was taken to the hospital for mental health treatment Sept. 30 after his daughter reported concern for his welfare.

Impaired driving: Wilson Mills Road

A Cleveland man, 26, was charged with OVI after his vehicle was seen running a red light and striking a concrete barrier in the median of the roadway around 2:30 a.m. Oct. 2.

Hit-skip: Interstate-271

A woman said Oct. 3 that an SUV struck her vehicle on the entrance ramp and continued onto the freeway without stopping. The suspect’s vehicle was not located.

Suspicious activity: SOM Center Road

A woman was said to be exposing herself in a vehicle in the library parking lot Oct. 5.

Responding officers did not locate the suspect or the vehicle.
